D-type Gravel Pumps

The D-type gravel pumps are used in dredges. Naturally, to be used in primitives conditions should be made in the same fashion, primitively enough to be made or repaired in the field. This lowers the cost of the dredge and reduces its down-time, since it can be maintained or repaired in the field as well, using simple tools and readily available materials.

Inside the casing are fitted wear-plates, which are periodically changed. The gravel pump uses open impeller and is placed to work in water to eliminate the issues of watertightness and priming.

Pumping volumes:

- 10-inch: 60 m³/h of solids
- 12-inch: 100 m³/h of solids
